Eskom’s latest atmospheric emissions licences

On 2 June 2016, the Centre for Environmental Rights (CER) submitted a request for copies of all of Eskom’s coal power stations’ most recent annual emission reports submitted in terms of paragraph 17 of the Listed Activities and associated Minimum Emission Standards identified in terms of section 21 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (GN893, published in Government Gazette 37054 of 22 November 2013). The CER received the requested information on 16 September 2016. It obtained a copy of the atmospheric emission licence for the Duvha Power Station more recently.
